The Trump administartion's use of tariffs and the resultant effect they had on our financial markets was the news topper this week. Talk about volitility! Way down like a roller coaster's first drop and then back up like a rocket. Who knows where it will end up? Many countries are coming to the bargaining table - but not the Chinese. It's going to be a knock-down drag-out with them.

Big gate at the movie theaters last weekend. "A Working Man" last week's leader, fell to second - by a mile. The leader this week was "A Minecraft Movie". I assume all the video-gamers got off the couch and went to the movies. It grossed over $160M as it played in over 4,000 theaters. The surprise of the week came in third "The Chosen - Last Supper part 2". It was just behind "A Working Man" while only playing in just over 2,000 theaters.
Extreme rains brought flash floods and flooding to the Ohio Valley. Many Cincinnati streets were closed because of high water. Much of the Midwest and South suffered similar problems.
