MIDWEEK PRAYER

Dear Lord,

guard me from evil and peril,

guide me through my day today,

and grant me the blessing of peace

that comes with your presence.

Walk with me when I travel, 

talk with me when I worry,

and sulk with me when I'm sad.

and silence is my only consolation.
