What a day! Thursday 3/23 will be remembered around here for a while. Huggins to Kansas State - Mick Cronin to UC - Andy Kennedy to Ole Miss. Wow! All of this was snuggled around a two point loss to South Carolina in the NIT after two starters were mysteriously suspended from the team for the rest of the year at about noon. The icing on the cake occurred when Kennedy's remarks after the game were squelched by the new AD so that no one in the building could hear what he had to say. Unbelievable! Conspiracy theories are running rampant.

Those who thought the school administration had something to do with the team being omitted from the NCAA tournament surely think that the suspensions were aimed at the same end - to see that the team didn't get to the prime time stage. ESPN announcers were killing the school administration throughout the tourney. If nothing else, I'm sure they're glad its over.

Let's hope a calm settles in and Mick has the resources to get the job done. He's definitely capable.
