MARS
Yes, we are on the 'Third Rock' from the sun. Mars, of course, is the fourth rock. One interesting thing about Mars is that it has polar ice caps. These are due to its tilted axis which causes seasons as we have on earth. Mars orbits at the rate of almost two earth years per orbit. The average temperature on Mars ranges from -220 degrees to 68 degrees F. The ice caps are made of carbon dioxide.
NASA released a report in September 2005 that the Mars Global Surveyor showed that the ice caps on Mars have decreased in size for three straight Mars years. This means that Mars is undergoing global warming. Someone, quick, tell Al Gore that they have too many SUVs on Mars.
