2006 IN REVIEW

2006 IN REVIEW

Amy & Jeff moved into their new home.

Carson Palmer went down with a knee injury and so did our hopes for the Super Bowl.

My Dad was in and out of the hospital for the first half of this year. He was given up for dead by some at one point. He spent time in a nursing home they thought he would never leave. He's just about all the way back now. He's out taking walks again and he and my mom just flew to California for Christmas.

My friend Greg Lemmel was diagnosed with cancer in January and died in December. RIP

Stacey came to visit in March. We celebrated her 39th and her mother's 59th.

Amy fractured a bone in her foot at Curves and she got to wear a boot whenever she wanted.

Mick Cronin took the UC basketball job.

Lucy tried to look down a dog's throat and got herself in a pinch.

Madeline made her first communion.

Stacey had her 'pain-in-the-neck' taken care of.

Andy & Missy moved into their new home.

The Reds had a pretty good season, all things considered. They ended up third in their division but had a chance for the playoffs into the last week.

Andy started working outside the office.

Frank & Shelly got a driveway.

My team came in second in our softball league. We lost 5-4 to Brinkman's crew in the finals.

Missy and Andy announced that she is with child and due in the Spring. PTL

Carson Palmer made a miraculous comeback from his knee injury of last season and led the Bengals to an 'almost/what if' season. (This could change later today)

Michelle lost her beauty mark and got put on a diet.

Joe broke his arm playing basketball in October. He managed to make the school team with the cast in place based on his reputation. He's cleared to play next week.

Ryan got his temporary drivers license. According to Florida law, he must have it for a year before he can get his permanent permit.

The Dupps ran in the annual Miamisburg Turkey Trot. Scot and I ran in the Run for the Pies in Florida.

UC football got a bowl bid; lost their coach to Michigan State; hired Brian Kelly to lead the program.

Amy got a car with windows that work.

UC basketball upset XU in the Crosstown Shootout.

The Mrs made her annual visit to the Bethesda North cardiac catheter lab. Oh, well. All's well that ends well.

I can't wait until tomorrow. I get better looking every day. It should be obvious that my memory is not improving every day.
