I wonder when we will get to the point that we require national service of everyone. This means that every person would have to spend some time, say two years between the ages of 18 and 28, in either the military or some other form of service to country. Its an idea that has been thrown around before.

We are definitely not to the point where this could be passed into law right now but, I think its a good concept. I know everyone could use two years of strict discipline and exposure to different cultures with lessons in responsibility, team work and problem solving. Surely, it would benefit our country.
