WAR OF WORDS

WAR OF WORDS

There is a war of words going on that is very interesting. Our cable TV service is pushing to get customers to use their telephone service. My guess is, they are doing pretty well. Can it be far away that our phone company will be trying to get customers to get TV service from them?

New technologies in voice communication are popping up every day. My daughter in Florida has been making phone calls to her husband when he is in Europe for free over the internet. Her husband has been making phone calls to his sales agents in Europe when he is home for free over the internet. We talk to each other using instant messaging. We can tell when each other are available without making a call.

All these technologies overlap each other. The features we have in instant messaging over the internet will soon be available on our telephones. Voice and image communications over the internet are here. Television over the internet is here. Not too long ago, this was all a dream.

What are you dreaming today? It will be available tomorrow.
