CINCINNATI ROLLERGIRLS

On August 24th last year, I brought to your attention that Cincinnati had a women's roller derby league. I never thought it would last. Now it comes to my attention that the league is going strong and has been accepted into the Women's Flat Track Derby Association. This is the group that makes the rules and sanctions leagues and tournaments around the world. The Cincinnati Rollergirls league is the 39th to be accepted into the association. It is estimated that there are about 200 women's flat track leagues world wide. It can't be too long until we start seeing roller derby on ESPN5.
