YESTERDAY

Well, it finally rained here. Not much of a rain but the best we've had in a month or so. My flowers were smiling at me when I drove up the driveway coming home from work.




I spent a little time in the yard just before dark. The sound of the cicadas was deafening. This isn't the big year for our huge 17-year brood but it is a very loud brood, I'll say that.




I read Walter Williams latest editorials this afternoon. I love that guy.
