I ALWAYS put my left shoe on first. I have since the Summer of 1956. The Reds were in a pennant chase and several of the players were on the Ruth Lyons show. She told them that it was lucky to put your left shoe on first and I've done it ever since. I couldn't put on my right shoe first if I tried.
