SNOW

Well, we've got it now. It looked like I was going to go through a whole winter without shoveling snow. Na, Baby, Na! The 'white death' has struck the Ohio Valley. The first blizzard since 1978. 30 years! Oh, I remember that blizzard. I sat aimlessly in front of our dining room window looking out at the patio...for days. I became a bird feeder and a bird watcher. That was serious! No one was allowed on the roads. My sister Kathy had to be picked up by the Ohio National Guard to be taken to work because she had a critical job at General Hospital. Fun times! I don't know if it will get that bad this year but if it does, its okay by me. I can take it. Daylight savings time starts tomorrow. In no time, I'll be in my shorts at the park jogging around the lake.
