CONGRESSIONAL IDIOTS

Can you believe that your congress has reacted to your pain over gasoline prices by calling the CEOs of various oil companies into hearings and accusing them of greed in pricing their product? These congressional idiots want us to beg Saudi Arabia to produce more oil because they know that additional supply would make the price go down. These congressional idiots are the same ones that, when squeezed by the environmentalists, decided to turn food into fuel and restrict the use of our land to find more fuel. Because of these restrictions, the nearest oil rig to our southern coast is owned by the Chinese who drill with the permission of Cuba. The oil companies estimate that if drilling were allowed off our gulf coast and in Alaska, the U.S. would move from number 11 in the world to number four in terms of proven oil reserves. There is only one solution to this problem. Give all the federal land in Alaska to the environmentalists. No way they would sit on billions of dollars of oil and natural gas not allow it to be sold.
