SCREAM

In 1951, the Warner Bros. film Distant Drums included a blood curdling scream by a character named Wilhelm being drug under water by an alligator. An independent sound effects man noticed Warner using it in several later films and he recorded it as a stock scream. Now, Wilhelm's scream can be heard in at least 140 different movies and was used in the first three Star Wars films and Indiana Jones to name some prominent films.
