SOFTBALL

We went into last night's game tied for first in the league. It was the last regular season game. A win would put us into first by ourselves and give us a bye for Sunday night's tournament opening round.

My foot is still ouchy, so I didn't play. I coached third and cheered and drank beer. It didn't help. We were ahead 7-2 going into the bottom of the sixth when we let them tie it. We went ahead 9-7 in the top of the seventh but lost 10-9.

We play Sunday at 6:15. I may give it a try.
