ELECTION

It seems to me that there has never been such a clear divide between right-to-life candidates and right-to-choose candidates than we have in this year's presidential election. Most years, all of the candidates hedge and try to play it down the middle. They throw in enough 'ifs' to try to make the most people satisfied...but not this year!

The McCain/Palin ticket is staunchly pro-life and Obama/Biden ticket is staunchly pro-choice. With regard to this, the interesting thing to come is not who wins or loses but the vocal position that the Catholic Church in America takes. You know the Fundamentalist Christians will openly and unabashedly back the pro-life candidates. Will the Catholic hierarchy do the same or will they wallow in their silence?
