LOOOOONG

How long is long?

At the famous Aker shipyards in Finland, the longest ship in the world is being built. It will be 298 feet longer than the Titanic and, amazingly, 88 feet longer than a Nimitz Class aircraft carrier of the U.S. Navy. We are talking about the length of four football fields.

Scheduled to be finished in 2009, the Oasis of the Seas will be the largest passenger ship owned by Royal Carribean International. At a cost of about 1.2 billion dollars, it will carry 6,300 passengers and 2,100 crew.

I think if you boarded astern in Key West and walked to the bow you would be most of the way to Cuba. :)
