FOOLS

"There's no fool like an old fool." I should know.
"Fools rush in." They do . . . but so do heroes.
"What fools these mortals be." Shakespeare.
"Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me."
Be wary of those who fool you.

We are most often fooled by our own vanity or our pride or our absent-mindedness or our short sightedness. It is no crime to be fooled . . . it is no crime - unless we fool ourselves.

"What kind of fool am I?"
"Better an April fool than an everyday fool." PJL
