On May 5, 1921, Coco Chanel released her famous perfume Chanel No. 5. She had a thing for the number 5. To say the least, it was her favorite number. This formula was the 5th in a series which a perfumer had set before her to test. Of course, she chose this date to release it to the public . . . 5th day of the 5th month. She also arraigned to have 5 fingers on each hand.
