Each night for the last three weeks I've been traveling from work to the hospital to visit my mother. That trip takes me through the Indian Hill neighborhood of Greater Cincinnati. In case you're not familiar with it, it is the elite area of town.

Two days in a row this week, I passed a new white Rolls Royce convertible with blue top going in the opposite direction. It is gorgeous. I think it is the Phantom Drophead Coupe model which has a base price of $434,000.00.

The one thing that really struck me about the car was that it had the license plate CHL. Anyone from this area would immediately relate that to Carl H. Lindner. Forbes magazine estimated his net worth at $2.3 billion in 2006. The reason the license plate struck me was because I thought someone would get a personalized plate if they were worried about picking their 2007 Honda Accord out in a shopping mall parking lot. Somehow I can't imagine the chauffeur leaving this buggy in a parking lot anywhere.
