A funny thing happened to me in Florida. I had some spare time and I thought I would go hit some balls at the batting cages. You know, try to groove my softball swing. Well, I attempted to do just that. First I hit some golf balls, you know I have to play next Sunday in our usual Fathers Day outing. Then I went to the batting cages. I chose the softball cage and to my surprise I had picked fast-pitch softball. It was a lot of fun but wasn't what I expected. I guess they don't play slow-pitch softball in Florida.
