The Social Security Agency publishes a list of most popular baby names by year by State. In Ohio, in 2009, the most popular name given to a baby girl was Isabella. The most popular for a boy was Jacob.
The website lists the top 100 names for each sex. To me, the names that are included are not as interesting as those that are not. NOT included in the top 100 boys or girls names given in Ohio in 2009 are Patrick, Suzanne (or any form of Sue), Stacey, Michelle or Amy. What is this world coming to?
