GLOBALIZATION

We always worry about our economy. Is that the U.S. economy we are worried about? Maybe we should worry about our State's economy or our city's economy. What do you think? How about your personal economy? Maybe we should worry about the world economy. Globalization is here to stay.

It seems to me that people have a good idea how products made cheaper in other countries force down the price of similar products made in the our city or in our state or in the U.S. Most people tend to buy the cheapest item that fills their need . . . no matter where it is made. U.S. businesses have had to lower prices or go out of business and many went out of business. U.S. businesses who have opened up manufacturing facilities in other countries in order to stay competative with foriegn manufacturers are defamed for this practice. What would you have them do? Politicians who "send US jobs overseas" are defamed. Nobody send jobs overseas except buyers who buy cheaper products made overseas.
