CINCINNATI SPORTS

In case no one noticed, the Cincinnati Reds have played their way out of contention in the National League Central Division race.  It is the year of the "Brew Crew" from Milwaukee.  What looked so promising for the Reds has turned into a try-out for some promising rookies.  Just wait 'til next year!

Not only is the Reds season effectively over but the Bengals seem to be in the same situation.  I know preseason games mean nothing but, holy moses, they looked very little like a pro football team last week.  The players strike this past off-season has severely harmed teams like the Bengals with new coaches or coordinators and teams like the Bengals with new or rookie quarterbacks.  Their schedule seems weaker this year but that may not help.  Just wait 'til next year!
