FEHERTY

I have a new favorite TV show. It is simply called Feherty. 

David Feherty was a professional golfer on the PGA tour.  He hails from Northern Ireland though he now lives in Texas and has become a naturalized US citizen. 

When he retired from the golf tour, he got into TV broadcasting doing PGA events for CBS.  He authored four best selling books and also pens articles for golf magazines.  He has a sharp wit and very dry humor.  I find him totally likable.  Two years ago he wrote the following in a Dallas magazine.

"From my own experience visiting the troops in the Middle East, I can tell you this, though: despite how the conflict has been portrayed by our glorious media, if you gave any U.S. soldier a gun with two bullets in it, and he found himself in an elevator with Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, and Osama bin Laden, there's a good chance that Nancy Pelosi would get shot twice, and Harry Reid and bin Laden would be strangled to death."

Now he has his own half-hour TV show on the golf channel.  He interviews pro golfers, other sports stars and celebrities.  Catch it if you can.
