SMART?

One of my good customers, Smart Papers in Hamilton, Ohio, has announced that they are going to cease operation in the next year.  They are the last manufacturer of high quality glossy paper in North America.  The reason for their closing is because of competition from Asia.  And why can't they compete with Asian manufacturers?  The big problem is government regulations...particularly the EPA.  It takes a lot of heat to turn cellulose into paper.  This factory's boiler system will not meet new EPA regulations that are scheduled to go into effect.  The costs of installing and operating a system that meets EPA regulations increases the cost of their paper products.  Another business and hundreds of  jobs will bite the dust.  Our unemployed workers will have cleaner air to breathe.  There must be some solution to this nonsense.
