The NFL staged it's annual All-Star game called the Pro Bowl last night in Hawaii. Finally, we had a few Bengals playing in it and I had a passing interest. The game started as the joke it is - kind of like a mild form of two-hand tag. By the 4th quarter, things were heating up a bit. You see, the winning team gets an extra $25K.
Cam Newton was totally underwhelming for the NFC. Gino Adkins of the Bengals the D-linemen were chasing him all over the place.
Brandon Marshall, the Dolphins WR, was the MVP. He had as many TDs in this game (4) as he did all year including two spectacular ones. Afterwards, he explained that, in essence, he never had anyone throw to him like the Bengals' Andy Dalton - pretty nice compliment.
AJ Green and Jermaine Gresham of the Bengals each had catches for the winning AFC. Final Score 59-41.
On the subject of football, did you see where UC running back Isaiah Pead was named the MVP of the Senior Bowl on Saturday? The other "did you see" is where Chad Ochocinco bought every member of the New England Patriots traveling party (70) Dr Dre head phones for the air plane ride from Boston to Indianapolis.
