A weed is a plant that is undesirable in a specific location. When I walk through the woods, the paths are lined with vegetation that I would never want in my yard. But, if you don't go out and see it, you're really missing something beautiful. This time of year, it changes each week. A few weeks ago, there were bright yellow bell flowers everywhere. Last week it changed to a sea of white snow made up of clumps of small flowers. Interspersed, are purple and pink daisy shaped flowers. Some 'weed' had it's stem turn bright red as it withered. Spikes of golden flowers are bending their stalks to the fading sun. All of these are putting on their final show as Winter approaches. Its not only the leaves, folks, its the weeds. If you don't get out into the woods this time of year, you're missing it.
