COTTON

On my way through South Georgia I saw my first cotton fields.  It was the first time I'd ever seen a cotton plant.  They're woody little plants that only grow two to three feet high.  Some of the fields we saw were recently picked and others had yet to be picked.  Large bales sat in the picked fields covered with plastic.  I guess this is the time of year.
