ELECTIONS

Thoughts:

Do you think it bothers the winner, in the election just past or any one for that matter, that so many people voted for the other guy?  Do you think BHO even considers that almost Fifty-Nine million people voted for him to LOSE his job?

It is revolting that celebrities have such a large impact on our elections.  Not only do they give large sums of money to candidates but they sway their uninformed admiring fans.  They have immense access to and through the media without spending a dime.  The rich have always had an inordinately large effect on election campaigns but never have they had this media access.  Movie stars, musicians and athletes have preempted wealthy business people.  I don't see any way out of this.

As of today, no state is finished counting it's ballots.  Florida's electoral votes are still undecided.  If the presidential election was undecided, we'd be waiting with bated breath.  Do they let those old people count the ballots?

It doesn't seem fair to the rest of the nation that the "battleground states" get all of the campaign TV ads.  I say we make a new law that demands that any ad shown in one area must be shown in all areas of the country.  Every market would get the same ads and the same number of ads.  Politicians couldn't select particular lies for particular ears.  Just think how that would reduce the glut on Ohio television and maybe reduce the bullshit.
