12 APOSTLES

Here are the next three Apostles.

Andrew was a follower of  John the Baptist until he met Jesus.  He then became His first Apostle.  Andrew was the quiet brother of boisterous Simon Peter and brought Peter into the group.  He was a fisherman and became a fisher of men.  He died a martyr.

Phillip was another follower of John the Baptist who left to follow Jesus.  Phillip was from Galilee and friends with Andrew and Simon Peter.  He convinced the skeptic Nathanael (Bartholomew) to come into the group.  Phillip was the one who told Jesus that they didn't have enough money to buy bread and fish for all the people on the hill that day.  He died a martyr.

When Nathanael (Bartholomew) was introduced to Jesus by Phillip, Jesus knew he was skeptical and told him some things no one could have known.  He became fiercely loyal and died a martyr.
