HEARTBURN
Why do we still call heartburn, heartburn. Surely everyone knows it is actually a stomach acid reflux. It has nothing to do with the heart. I'm sure that was a convenient term in the middle ages used by people who didn't know any better. Today, the language needs to progress along with science and technology. We should be using more technical terms with our doctors like 'hiccups' and 'zits' and 'athlete's foot' and 'the runs' and 'number two' and 'the clap'.
