We call the visit of the three Kings or Magi to the newborn child Jesus Christ in Bethlehem the Epiphany. It was typically celebrated on January 6 but now on the second Sunday following Christmas. The non-capitalized word epiphany means the moment of discovery or realization.
As the story goes, the three Kings traveled a great distance following a star, not knowing exactly where it would take them. They did have the belief that they were being led to the Messiah - the future king of the Jews.
Are you a star follower? Where will your star lead you? What do you expect to find there?
Be sure your star is worth following.
