SNOWBIRDS

We acquired new neighbors across the street last Summer.  They worked endlessly repairing and upgrading the house.  They told me that they owned a place in Florida where they spend the Winters.

Well,  about the first of the year they were gone. So as not to attract attention to an empty house, they left most of the blinds shut and the yard was all in order.  I noticed that they left a light on in the house evidently on a timer.  They had done this before.

This time they got fooled.  Their house is obviously not occupied.  This stupid Winter has seen to that.  Snow has piled up in front of their front door so that it couldn't be opened.  The garage door has a big snow drift in front of it as well.  Hah!

I'm still so jealous of them.
