GAMES

Back in the middle 1980's, I took part in a game with some of the salesmen in our company.  It was totally on your honor, so you can see it wasn't really much of a game for sales people.

In any case, the game had to do with auto license plates.  The object was to see plates with particular numbers on them.  Each person had to begin by finding a license plate that had only a number '1' on it - letters were disregarded.  Then you could look for a plate with only a number '2' and so forth.

Hospital and country club parking lots were good places to find those specialized plates with single digits on them.  I suppose that wasn't very cost effective for our company.  I think I got up into the three digit numbers after a couple years before I tired of it.  No one won or lost - we all just eventually lost interest.
