Today is International Nurses Day (worldwide). It is set aside to honor nurses for the contributions they make to society. The U.S. observes Nurses Week from May 6 thru May 12. Today marks the birthday of Florence Nightingale - the founder of modern nursing.
Nurses are those people whose job it is to keep doctors from killing us. I liked them a lot better when they wore starched white uniforms and those cute little White Castle box hats.
