GERMANY

You may be interested to learn (I was) that Germany is made up of states in a similar fashion to the USA.  There are sixteen states in all; three of which are 'city states'.  Like our fifty states, each German state has its own government.  The federal government for the whole country is located in its largest city, Berlin.
