RANDOM MUSINGS FROM THE TOP OF THE HILL

SUNDAY SERVICE

This week we hear again the famous parable of the farmer sowing his seed.  Some fell on the path, some on poor ground, some among the thorn bushes and some on good ground.  You know how it goes.

We all have seed to sow.  Seed in many forms.  The most obvious is our children.  Provide good ground for them; nurture them; keep the weeds away; provide what they need; do not over-water or over-fertilize.

We also have our thoughts, our ideals, our sense of morality that we can sow in our communities . .  sow among your friends and acquaintances.  Don't be afraid.  Don't ever be afraid.
