SUNDAY SERVICE

The gospel verse this week is a continuation of last Sunday's story about the loaves and the fishes.  That same day, after everyone had been fed, Jesus dismissed the crowd and sent them home.  His disciples he sent to the sea to fish in a large boat.  Jesus, by himself, went to another spot to pray.

After a time, Jesus came to join his disciples by walking across the water.  Peter saw him coming and asked Jesus to allow him to also walk on the water.  Jesus told him to come ahead.  Peter started walking on the water but became afraid and started to sink.  He begged Jesus to save him.  Jesus said, "Oh ye of little faith. Did you think I would let you drown?"

Don't lose faith in Jesus.  He will not let you drown.
