SUNDAY SERVICE

This Sunday the message is a little hard to take.  We are told to give up everything, even our life, if necessary to reach our goal - eternal life.

I always thought the number of people willing to give a life for God was rather small.  Yet, when I think about the soldiers who give their life for others in combat and the suicide bombers of the radical Islamists who die for their cause, I might be underestimating mankind.  I doubt most people know what they will do until the time arrives.

Luckily, not many of us are called to make the supreme sacrifice.  The one thing you can be sure:  Nothing of great value is achieved without some sacrifice. Be prepared.  Be prepared.
