WORDS

GHT   Where in the world did the English language come up with THAT configuration of three consonants?  It makes no sense.

Consider these words ending in ITE:  bite; cite; kite; lite; mite; quite; rite; site; sprite; trite; write

Now, consider these words ending in IGHT:  bright; blight; fight; flight; height; knight; light; might; night; right; sight; tight; wright.

"Okay, so what", you say.  Well, here's what I'm getting at.   Find me a word that ends in AGHT.

Oh, there are a lot with ATE.  eg. bate, date, fate, gate, hate, late, mate, rate, sate   BUT none with aght.

In case you missed the WHOLE point.  My surname is unique . . . and hard for people to pronounce.

Ta Da!

O.O
