EMBARRASSMENT

I hate to be embarrassed.  I think most people do.  I've noticed that some children go to tears when embarrassed.

As we grow older, we either become more immune to embarrassment or we act in such a way as to avoid it. Those who are immune to it shock us.  They are the class fools.  Those who never try anything, never get embarrassed.  They are the model citizens.

My guess is Bill Gates and Warren Buffet and Steve Jobs and the like were often embarrassed during their lives.  If you child does something that should embarrass them and doesn't, just think who they might become.  Or, you can reinforce the embarrassment and take the risk they might grow up to be poor like me.
