WHEN I WAS A KID

When I was a kid, parents were responsible for teaching their children to drive a car.  If they had, drivers training companies, I'm not aware of it.  The schools didn't teach drivers education, either.  It was just you and your dad or mom.  Maybe this was not as efficient as today but there was something positive in it.  You had better have a good relationship with them or you weren't going to drive.  Makes sense to me.
