BENGALS

Did you know that there are no tigers in Africa except in zoos?  The tiger is native strictly to Asia.

The Bengal tiger is one that comes from the part of South Asia known as Bengal.  It includes parts of the countries of  India, Pakistan and Bangladesh.

The Siberian tiger is native to the region of Russia known as Siberia.  There is also a Malayan tiger, a Indochinese tiger, and a South China tiger.  That's it!  Who knew?

I was hoping to use this picture of a Bengal Tiger last month but, sadly, it was never appropriate.
