What is the most valuable thing you can give your child?  Values.

Simple, isn't it?  Your values are what your child will take away from your family.

Whether you think of it in that way or not, you have a value system.  You rank everything in the world according to it's value.  Your house, your car, your clothes, your looks, your kids, your pets, your parents, your freedom, your God, your peace and quiet, your job, your friends, your school, your sports - everything.

Even if you've never ranked them in your mind, you have ranked them in your subconscious.  Your spouse and your kids and your parents and your friends have a pretty good idea how they rank in your mind.  If you don't believe me, ask them.  If the answers are not what you expect, maybe you're fooling yourself and have some work to do.
