COMPROMISE

Is compromise a good thing?   Not always - maybe not ever.

When two parties are each trying to get their way, compromise may be necessary.  Each side wants to feel that it has gained something.  No one likes to be pushed around or taken advantage of.  All dealings involve some sort of compromise.  The trick is to not to let it go too far.  Too far is when your principles are sacrificed.

Principles are the reason many deals are not made.  Principles are the reason our federal congress is sometimes unable to act.  Sometimes, they shouldn't act.  Each side has principles.  Neither should sacrifice them.

We all have principles.  Don't let others bully you into compromise.  You do not have to compromise your principles.  Don't!
