SUNDAY SERVICE

This week is devoted to the teaching of Jesus in which He explains that He is the Good Shepherd.   The visual aid of shepherd and sheep was better in that land at that time.  Here, we seldom see sheep and even less often see large flocks.

Two of the major trips out of the country that I have taken have been to Australia and Ireland.  In both of these countries I saw many sheep and large flocks.  In Australia, I even went to a sheep shearing demonstration.

When sheep are sheared, they are picked up off of their feet and set on their rump.  This position immobilizes and calms them.  They seem to love the shearing once they are in that position.

Allow yourself to be calmed.  It's a good feeling.
