SUNDAY SERVICE
In our Gospel reading today, Jesus is using the examples of farmers and seeds as he did so often. The key to this is the cause and effect. Plant seed and something grows. Plant good seed on good ground and something grows good. Plant a mustard seed and you get a mustard tree. It's all cause and effect.
That's not too exciting or relative for us non-agrarian peoples. The point is the 'cause and effect.' Do something good and good things happen. Do the right things and spend eternity with God.
