SOFTBALL

No softball games last night - 4th of July weekend and all.  It's been so long since I played, I'll have to go back to Spring training again.  Drinking beer and eating pizza does not come naturally to me.  (Ahem!)

The 4th is the day we in our country celebrate our independence; our independence from England and the English monarch - King George.  That government was too oppressive and did not allow for individual freedom.  Today, we are not oppressed by a foreign government but our own.  It's all gone downhill since 1776 and in the last seven years has gotten a lot steeper.
