RANDOM MUSINGS FROM THE TOP OF THE HILL

SUNDAY SERVICE

This Sunday we read the famous story of the miracle of the loaves and the fishes.  You know what happened.  The large crowd following Jesus needed to be fed.  An apostle said that a boy in the crowd had five loaves and two fishes.  Jesus said to distribute them to the hundreds of people.  They did and miraculously fed them all with more left over than they started with.

When reading this we always think of the great miracle Jesus performed.  I think, today, we should consider the boy.  He had plenty to feed himself and his family - but he chose to share with others.  He could have been selfish - but he wasn't.

What you have may seem small compared to what is needed to solve a problem.  Your few pennies may seem too little to matter.  It doesn't.  The message today:  Don't ever fail to share with others because you think what you have is too little.  If you give, you may find that you have more than you started with.

O.O
