Did you know that UPS and FedEx design their delivery drivers' routes so that they go (in general) clockwise and when they have to make turns, they are always right turns if possible?  They do!

These companies have thousands of trucks on the road every day.  It saves them real money when their drivers can 'turn right on red' and not idle more than necessary.
